Ekoplekz

Initially a music journalist and blogger on Bristol's steadily expanding experimental dub scene, Ekoplekz eventually decided to start creating music, rather than critique it. The UK producer became infatuated with analogue recording techniques, which he relies upon entirely to create his sprawling soundscapes made up of noise-based loops and subtle inclusions of dubby basslines. While Ekoplekz' music leans far more toward the avant-garde than the easily accessible, it showcases enough of a discernible melody and knowledge of traditional composition to still be palatable.
