Mood Rings

Meshing the sunny jangle of surf guitars with the dense noise of shoegaze-influenced drone, Atlanta-based band Mood Rings creates music with a nice contrast between bright and dark moments. The four-piece formed in 2009 and has slowly made its way into the headphones of alternative bloggers who have touted the band's 2011 EP Sweater Weather Forever as a pleasant breath of spring air after winter months. While Mood Rings is still just getting its bearings in the indiesphere, the group will likely continue to build a following and garner positive press as it tours more frequently.
