Heartless Bastards

Heartless Bastards is a four-piece indie rock and roll outfit that showcases the gritty, hard-edged vocals of Dayton, OH-born singer/songwriter Erika Wennerstrom. During one of its debut performances in Akron, OH the group caught the attention of Patrick Carney of the Black Keys and he forwarded the band's demo along to the label heads at Fat Possum, who immediately signed the band. Wennerstrom then moved the band to Austin, altered the lineup into a four-piece in 2007 and continued to release brazen, heartland-inspired alternative rock and roll.
