Tennessee-born, London-based Lauren Pritchard doesn't only have an unusual history of re-location, but has an equally dynamic history as an entertainer and an artist. Spotted at a young age for her talents as both a singer and an actress, Pritchard headed off to New York City to be a part of the Broadway hit Spring Awakening. Realizing her vocal potential, Pritchard up and left for London, signing a deal with Island/Universal Records. Pritchard has focused mainly on making an updated form of soul and R&B, and has collaborated with rapper Talib Kweli for her positively reviewed single "Painkillers."
