Hopewell

Hopewell is a psychedelic rock band from Brooklyn by way of Hopewell Junction, New York, the bandmates' hometown as well as the band's namesake. Since releasing its first single on the famed Detroit-based space rock label Burnt Hair Records in 1995, Hopewell has since gradually risen to become one of the more renowned and well-respected independent space/psychedelic rock acts out there. The band's 2007 album Good Good Desperation is considered by many to be the band's magnum opus thus far, with many critics drawing comparisons to the albums of psych rock legends Pink Floyd and Can.
