Dave Rawlings Machine

The eponymous solo project of David Rawlings--known for his production work and musical contributions to artists like Bright Eyes, Gillian Welch, Ryan Adams and Robyn Hitchcock-- the Dave Rawlings Machine was conceived by the singer/songwriter in 2009. Utilizing a flatpicking style of playing his guitar to achieve a characteristic sound, Rawlings creates impressive neotraditional country ballads filled with elements of bluegrass and old-time folk.
