Chip Robinson

Chip Robinson is an Americana/alternative country musician from Brooklyn, New York who is perhaps best known as the front man for the 1990s alternative country rock band The Backsliders. Since the members of the band went their separate ways in 1999, Chip Robinson decided to pursue a solo career, not as a move to maintain or increase his popularity, but as a way to continue doing what he loves--songwriting and performing his music. Since then, Chip continues to perform to the enjoyment and acclaim of his fans, both new and those from his days with The Backsliders, and has become a regular fixture on New York's steadily growing Americana/alternative country scene.
