A collaboration between electronic producers Travis Stewart (machinedrum) and Praveen Sharma (of Praveen & Benoit), Sepalcure is a Brooklyn, New York-based dubstep project. The duo formed in the late 2000s and instantly began hitting the underground electronic and club circuit, managing to land slots at notable festivals along the way. Combining a sunnier version of shuffling dubstep--which it refers to as "lovestep"--with shades of techno and tribal house music, Sepalcore is a name to watch for in the modern electronic scene. In 2010, the duo caught the ear of filmmaker Darren Aronofsky, who commissioned them to compose a track for his award-winning film, Black Swan.
