Sainthood Reps

Long Island, New York-based group Sainthood Reps formed in late 2009. The band's four members came together based on a mutual love and appreciation for 1990s indie and post rock from the likes of Sunny Day Real Estate, Built to Spill, Fugazi and Mogwai. Sure enough, Sainthood Reps utilizes the guitar-driven, loose pop of the former genre and combines it with the often frantic, dynamic heavy noise rock of the latter. The band quickly established itself and gained the attention of reputable indie label Tooth & Nail Records, which released Sainthood Reps' debut album in 2011.
