Although Lucien Foort is known as a world famous Dutch DJ and producer, he was born in a musical family and studied saxophone and orchestra. After his studies, his interests shifted to rock, rave and rap--musical genres that he played with various bands. Out of the blue came his rave hit "Quadrophonia," which earned him recognition. Foort stuck to DJing and soon developed his own style in progressive productions, resulting in his first compilation called Singularity. In 2001, he left his mark on the international scene when he contributed a song to BBC Radio's One Essential Mix. In the following years, Foort saw his singles "The Sound Of Love," "The Shame," "Shake Your Rump" and "Stand Up 4 Love" be picked up by major record labels and enthusiastic crowds world wide. In the late 2000s, he continued releasing both productions and remixes and is responsible for Dutch festival Dancevalley's "Anthem 2012." In 2012, he presented his concept series Bigroom Lovers, accompanied by the first compilation, Bigroom Lovers Volume 1.
