Steven Eugene Grove, known as Euge Groove, is an American saxophonist who plays a version of smooth jazz heavily-influenced by pop and soft rock. His first break in music came when he replaced Tower Of Power member, Richard Elliot, in the late 1980s. That experience of performing regularly with the popular funk band paved the way for his future endeavors, which included the beginning of a solo career in 2000. Grove's music is full of slick pop elements that always serve as a showcase for his melodic saxophone skills. This combination of jazz and pop has, for better or worse, garnered him comparisons to the likes of Kenny G. Some of Grove's bigger hits thus far include, "Livin' Large," "XXL" and "Slam Dunk."
