In this short 2-session workshop, we will work with the colors of the autumn landscapes of Kaatsbaan as we explore both abstract and representational ideas. As we work to clarify and simplify what we see, we will focus on the way in which relations of color create sensations of light and space. Participants may choose to work in either oil or acrylic. Expect to make at least 2 paintings.Kaatsbaan Cultural Park continues to require COVID-19 vaccination and booster for all outdoor and indoor events, but will no longer require proof of vaccination to attend, in line with NYC theaters.David Bradford received his MFA in painting from Parsons School of Design in 1991.
