The Child and Family Health (CaFHS) Interprofessional Clinical Orientation days aim to build on the information provided at the CAFHS Divisional Orientation and WCHN Corporate Orientation day. The program aims to facilitate a cohesive and shared understanding of how CaFHS works across the three core service domains of:
relationships
caregiver wellbeing and parenting
child health, development and emotional wellbeing
This 2 day program also provides an opportunity for new staff to become familiar with the key policies, procedures and standards that underpin clinical practice within the interprofessional team.
The two days will have a focus on the following National Standards for Safety and Quality in Health Services:
Recognising and Responding to Acute Deterioration
Communicating for Safety
Comprehensive Care
