Actually spanning only around 8 kilometers (5.5 miles), this beach is falsely named though it is hard to complain when it forms a luxurious strip of the Caribbean coast. Seven Mile Beach is the tourist epicenter of Grand Cayman, offering outdoor activities ranging from sunbathing to kite-surfing. Located just north of George Town, the sprawling beach is also surrounded by resorts, smaller hotels, and villas, and is replete with dining, shopping and nightlife opportunities. Pristine waters lap at the shores of this coral-sand, turquoise-water wonder and the beach is undoubtedly one of the best attractions in the Caribbean. Palm trees dot the land and coral reefs can be glimpsed in the vicinity. Owing to this, snorkeling is a popular activity here.
