Via Aurelia Antica 183, Rome, Italy, 00164
Villa Doria Pamphili is one of Rome's largest parks. This sprawling estate encompasses lush gardens, scenic vistas, and historic buildings that reflect the grandeur and opulence of its former inhabitants. The park was laid out on the orders of Prince Camillo Pamphili in the 17th Century. The villa was designed with sculptor and architect Alessandro Algardi, the creator of the fountains of the Lily and the Snail. The villa's historic buildings, including the majestic Palazzo Doria Pamphili, house a remarkable collection of art and artifacts. Today, Villa Doria Pamphili is open to the public, allowing visitors to explore its gardens, admire its architectural treasures, and immerse themselves in the beauty and tranquility of one of Rome's most beloved green spaces.
