It seems that this small but beautiful church of Romanesque origins was built over the remains of a Roman amphitheater where the martyrdom of Saint Vitale and Saint Agricola took place in the 4th Century. The church has a 13th Century bell tower. It was rebuilt at the beginning of the 19th Century. Inside the church there are works of art by Formigine F. Fancia, Angelo Piò, and Tiariani. It is possible to visit the ancient protomartyrs crypt which dates back to the 11th Century.
