The Buffalo Bills are a member of the AFC East Division in the National Football League. They were a charter member of the American Football League and joined the NFL as part of the AFL-NFL merger in 1970. The Bills franchise is best known for their four consecutive Super Bowl trips in the early 1990s, although they came up empty each time.
